Ho pensato di aprire un topic dedicanto interamente a lui perchè è grandioso *-* e poi perchè mi sembra di aver capito che piace a qualcuno u.u

-Gang Bang
-Pigmeo
-Senza Veli

per il momento sono riuscita a leggere Fight Club e Invisible Monsters e li ho trovati geniali! adoro il suo modo di scrivere, è la cosa che più mi affascina. il suo stile viene spesso definito povero e ripetitivo in quanto usa ripetere varie espressioni nei suoi libri.. ma la cosa che più adoro è la sua schiettezza e il suo sarcasmo. e come riesce ad aprirti la mente su tanti punti di vista della società u__u e poi è ricco di flashback che, in un primo momento, non ti fanno capire niente. ma poi basta mettere insieme i pezzi e si capisce la genialità dell'autore. una cosa che lo caratterizza credo sia, oltre ai flashback, anche il gioco dell'identità dei suoi personaggi. ogni volta vieni spiazzato e soltanto verso la fine hai un rovescio completo della storia che ti permette di comprendere davvero l'intera vicenda.
vabbè è difficile parlarne, leggetelo se volete. è davvero grandioso Chuck *-*

Io mi sono avvicinato a lui grazie a Fight Club di Fincher (ero in fissa con quel film) e il libro è stato all'altezza...
Anche se in generale credo che guardare prima un film rovini le atmosfere di un libro, in quanto sei già legato a delle immagini e a delle facce, il che rende l'approccio più "impersonale".... :X3:

Devo ricordarmi di leggere altro, a cominciare da soffocare e invisible monsters!

beh in effetti anche io mi sono accostata a Fight Club avendo già visto il film e ovviamente il libro è roba alquanto migliore. non piace neanche a me sto fatto, ci si lega appunto a certe immagini, certe idee e non si immaginano i personaggi come si dovrebbe.. ma ormai lol

Io avevo iniziato a leggere Soffocare ma, sinceramente, dopo 60 pagine l'ho richiuso.
Sì, c'erano delle frasi e delle riflessioni carine, però poteva risparmiarsi il resto ahhahahaa
Ho provato a continuarlo tante volte ma niente, non mi piace.
Non so, è uno dei peggiori come libro?
